the Queen Alexandra History Centre offers history-themed sessions for elementary school students and teachers. They wanted a web site that would not only let visitors view the sessions, but register for them as well.

• build a web site for the History Centre
• create a session management system for the history sessions

• a custom session manager for creating grades, sessions, and session dates
• a calendar and registration form for visitors to sign up for sessions
• the system automatically Emails an initial session information & session PDF, a pre-session reminder and finally a post-session feedback request

the History Centre session manager has made it possible for the staff to easily manage a large number of sessions. By having registrations taken on their web site instead of by phone or fax, staff can instead focus on the content and quality of the sessions rather than the effort in filling and organizing them.
