Originally, the "CT" blog was supposed to be all about helping demystify the world of website design and development, help company's with advice on how to build and maintain their website, and generally explore the business of making a website actually work for you (instead of just being work).
That's not quite how it turned out.

Sava is now Mura. The Mura CMS, until recently named Sava, is now known as Mura.
Why the repetition? Well, to help rebuild the brand for an excellent and highly productive CMS, whose name has recently changed from Sava to, you guessed it: Mura.

- don't just say okay
So last month we got a call and subsequent RFP for developing a website, and a few paragraphs into reading the document a deep chill went down my back. The project was content-heavy, had a very specific need for internal management and future growth, and needed to display sections of their content in a very specific but easily-navigated manner. The problem with this was that they wanted all of their gorgeous, user-enabling content to live within an all-Flash website.

I've personally been in the web game for nearly 15 years, and after all that time I'm admittedly still surprised how often new clients view their website projects with such trepidation ... or rather, that they dread the prospect of having to sit down and "talk web".

- putting a voice to the face
I fought the idea of a 'professional blog' for a long time. Dangerous, I thought. How can I be honest, look honest, feel honest? We are, after all a business, and sometimes it's hard to fight the need to market yourself and your work. The irony, of course, is that I recommend them to a lot of our clients.
