getting the blog back on track...by creating another blog
Originally, the "CT" blog was supposed to be all about helping demystify the world of website design and development, help company's with advice on how to build and maintain their website, and generally explore the business of making a website actually work for you (instead of just being work).
That's not quite how it turned out.
What it soon became was a technical blog on the products and applications were are developing for our clients and the development community in general. While this might be of interest to some people visiting our website, most of our clients have pointed out that it didn't really match with what we usually bring to the table: thoughtful solutions conveyed in an understandable language.
So, to rectify this solution and get back to what we meant this blog to be, our illustrious leader (and guy who's completely responsible for letting the blog wander off into developer land) has started his own technical blog at http://www.grantshepert.com. The new blog will contain all of the technical news and development journals for the company, as well as projects he is working on himself. This leaves us designer and marketing types free to discuss the issues clients (and website developers) face in trying to get the most out of their website.
Of course it doesn't mean that Grant won't appear from time to time here as well ... we'll just make sure he keeps things on-topic this time ;)
