Meld Forums for Mura ... Available Now!

Meld Forums for the Mura CMS is now, finally, available for purchase at MeldForums.com.

For those who haven't had the pleasure, the Mura CMS is one of the friendliest, most approachable web site content management systems available.  While we like it because it is easy to develop and extend for our clients, the main reason we use Mura is because relative to the rest of the CMS market, Mura is one of the easiest for our clients to use.

Meld Forums is our first commercial application for Mura (we've previously launched several free plugins, such as Google Site Maps, TinyUrls, and URL Intercepts).  Forums was probably one of the most requested functional enhancements to the Mura CMS, so it seemed a good place to start.

Moving forward, we have some mighty big plans for Mura and Meld, so much so that we are in the process of forming a new company with its own dedicated resources strictly for the development of Meld applications.  Event management, user-friendly form-building, and of course everybody's favorite ... Ecommerce!

We're going to be taking the user-friendly approach of Mura very seriously as well.  Or mandate has always been, "if people can't use it, there's no point in building it".  It's a rather obvious observation, but one too often ignored by developers more eager to impress than respect the end user.
