Meld Forums for Mura ... the website
MeldForums.com, the website, is up and running.
Meld Forums for Mura, the discussion forums plugin for the Mura CMS, is following very shortly (yes, this is a good news + "gotcha" sort of announcement, but at least we let you know before you got there!) We are just finishing up the documentation, support structure and actual online store so the actual "plugin" will be available very soon.
In an effort not to encapsulate a website's worth of information in this blog, I'll just give the briefest of rundowns:
Meld Forums for Mura CMS is a discussion forum plugin, designed to fully integrate into the Mura framework. For example, a "Meld Forums" user is really just a regular Mura member. There are no special login/account creation requirements, you can update or change the Mura member however you see fit, and changes made via Meld Forums update the Mura information at the same time ... because they are one in the same. This integration includes things like caching, uploaded files, internationalization and pretty much everything else that we could make "Mura".
The general concept behind "Meld" is that it will do just that, meld into your Mura CMS and any other applications/plugins you might be running there. Forums is just the first of a line of products that will also meld with one-another, but we're not going to get ahead of ourselves just yet and will focus upon making Meld Forums a high-quality and rewarding experience.
