Clever Technology (CT) has created the first externally-developed plugin for the Mura CMS system: Google Site Maps.
The Mura content management system is an open-source content management systems developed by Blue River Interactive Group. Blue River has recently added a plugin system to the Mura architecture, and Clever Technology responded by being the first company to contribute. Clever Technology developed the Google Site Maps widget both to explore the potential of the Mura plugin system and to add a function much requested by Mura users.
Response so far has been very positive. Malcolm O'Keeffe of Blue River, responded to the plugin by saying: "Clever Technology's Google Sitemap Plugin for Mura CMS is fantastic - it's very easy to use, and it works great. This is the first 3rd-party plugin submitted to the Mura CMS App Store, and Clever Technology's shown real insight into how to extend Mura CMS by working with the Mura CMS plugin framework. We're excited to see what they come up with next!"
Clever Technology plans to continue to develop both free/OS and commercial Mura plugins to improve the already significant user experience the Mura CMS offers. We will be working very closely with Blue River to ensure the high quality and demanding standards set by both companies.
