Thanks in great part to the online event management system developed by Clever Technology for the Edmonton & District Historical Society, the EDHS History Week has grown from 100 events to over 350.
"What used to take months has been reduced to weeks", says Linda Collier, current President of the EDHS. "The only way for us to collect information was by phone, fax or email, which meant we had to manually enter and update this information every year. Now we simply remind our contributors to sign into the website and update or add new events directly. With all this extra time we can now focus our attention on making the History Week Festival more exciting and reach out to a far greater number of communities."
