The Ice on Whyte ice carving festival occurs early in the year, bringing thousands of people out into the cool winter air to marvel at the temporary sculptures. The festival involves a great deal of coordination of artists, visitors, education programs, media, volunteers and, of course, visitors.
Working in coordination with their graphic design company, we were tasked with developing a site that the coordinators could maintain themselves, with calendars and registration tools for the events and their educational classes.
